These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dyno application, website, features, software, and services (“Services”).

By registering for or using Dyno, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and delete your account.

If you live in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, the Services are provided to you by Dyno App.
If you live outside those regions, the Services are provided by Dyno App.

1. About Our Services

1.1 Privacy and Security Principles

Dyno is built with strict privacy and security principles:

• We collect as little personal information as possible.
• We cannot read your messages (they are encrypted).
• We do not rent, sell, or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not show ads.

1.2 Connecting You With Others

Dyno helps you communicate with people you choose, through:

• Text messages
• Photos, videos, and other media
• Online status indicators
• Message delivery and read receipts
• Nicknames, profile icons, and usernames

Dyno does not currently provide voice calls, video calls, status posts, or business features.

1.3 Safety, Security, and Integrity

We work to maintain a safe environment by:

• Preventing misuse, spam, and harmful activity
• Responding to violations of our Terms
• Enforcing safety measures
• Investigating suspicious activity
• Taking appropriate action such as warning, restricting, disabling, or deleting accounts

If required by law, we may cooperate with legal authorities as described in our Privacy Policy.

1.4 Global Infrastructure

To operate Dyno reliably around the world, we may:

• Use infrastructure located outside your country of residence
• Store only what is necessary for message delivery

This global distribution is essential to providing fast, reliable messaging.

1.5 No Access to Emergency Services

Dyno is not a replacement for your phone, fixed-line telephone, or SMS service.
Dyno does not provide access to emergency services (police, hospital, fire department, etc.).
Ensure you can contact emergency services through a traditional phone service.

1.6 Registration

To use Dyno, you must:

• Register with a valid mobile phone number
• Provide a username
• Provide optional profile details
• Keep your information accurate and up to date

You agree to receive SMS (from us or our trusted third-party provider) to verify your number.

1.7 Address Book (Optional)

You may choose to allow Dyno to:

• Access phone numbers in your device’s contacts
• Sync them securely
• Identify which contacts use Dyno

This feature is optional and can be turned off at any time.

1.8 Age

You must be at least 15 years old, or the minimum age required in your country.
If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian review these Terms with you.

1.9 Devices and Software

You must provide your own:

• Device
• Operating system
• Internet connection
• Mobile data plan

To use Dyno, you must:

• Install updates (automatic or manual)
• Allow necessary push notifications

1.10 Fees and Taxes

You are responsible for:

• Mobile data fees
• Carrier fees
• Internet fees
• Applicable taxes

Dyno does not charge for basic messaging services.

2. Privacy Policy and User Data

• Attempt to bypass security protections
• Disrupt or overload our servers
• Create automated or fake accounts
• Misuse reporting or support channels
• Attempt unauthorized access to data or systems

3.4 Keeping Your Account Secure

You are responsible for:

• Securing your device
• Keeping your verification code private
• Not sharing your account
• Notifying us of unauthorized use

You agree that Dyno is not responsible for losses arising from unauthorized account access.

4. Third-Party Services

Dyno may allow integrations with:

• Device-level services (e.g., contact access, camera, photo library)
• Cloud backup services (optional, if you enable OS-level backups)

When you use third-party services, their terms and privacy policies apply.
Dyno is not responsible for how third-party services process your data.

Dyno does not integrate with advertising networks or social media platforms.

5. Licenses

5.1 Your Rights

You retain ownership of the content you send through Dyno.
You must have the rights to the content you transmit.

5.2 Dyno’s Rights

Dyno owns:

• Logos
• Branding
• Software
• Designs
• Features
• All related intellectual property

You may not use Dyno’s trademarks without written permission.

5.3 Your License to Dyno

To operate our Services, you grant Dyno a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to:

• Receive encrypted content for delivery
• Store undelivered messages securely 
• Display your profile information to others based on your settings

This license is solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

Dyno cannot read your message content.

5.4 Dyno’s License to You

Dyno grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

6. Reporting Copyright & IP Infringement

If you believe someone is infringing your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property:

7. Disclaimers and Release

You use Dyno at your own risk.
Dyno is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that:

• Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Content will always be delivered
• Services will be free of viruses or harmful code
• Users will behave appropriately

Dyno is not responsible for:

• User actions or content
• Loss of data
• Device damage
• Third-party conduct

Where permitted by law, you release Dyno and its affiliates from any claims related to your use of the Services.

8. Limitation of Liability

Where permitted by law:

• Dyno is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Dyno’s total liability will not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid for the Services in the past 12 months
• Dyno is not liable for losses caused by events outside our control

Some jurisdictions may require different rules—those local laws will apply.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you live in the EEA or UK, your local laws apply, and you may bring claims in your local courts.

If you live elsewhere, you agree that:

• Claims must be filed in a competent court in Las Vegas, USA
• The governing law is that same jurisdiction
• Conflicts of laws provisions do not apply

10. Availability and Termination of Services

10.1 Availability

Dyno may:

• Add, remove, or change features
• Perform maintenance
• Encounter outages
• Discontinue some or all Services

We will provide notice where required, except in urgent situations (security, legal compliance, abuse).

10.2 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through the app.
This permanently removes:

• Your account data
• Undelivered messages
• Linked content stored on our servers

10.3 Termination by Dyno

We may suspend or delete your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in unlawful or harmful behavior
• You create risk or legal exposure

We may take these actions with or without notice depending on the situation.

11. Other Provisions

• These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and Dyno.
• You may not transfer your rights under these Terms.
• We may update these Terms as needed; we will notify you of major changes.
• Continued use of Dyno means you accept updated Terms.
• If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed as necessary.
• All rights not explicitly granted are reserved by Dyno.

12. Accessing Dyno’s Terms in Different Languages

If Dyno offers multiple language versions of these Terms, the English version controls in the event of conflict.
